Kaya Jones[1][2] (born August 28, 1984),[3] a Canadian-American dual citizen, is a singer, actress, dancer, model and former member of the girl group The Pussycat Dolls from 2003-2006. Jones left the group after recording songs for the PCD album, to pursue modeling, and a solo musical career.

Born in Toronto, Canada, Kaya Jones always dreamed of becoming a successful artist. It was her passion for singing that led up to her success that gave her the ability to take part in many incredible endeavors. Enrolling into dance classes at the age of 2 and acting classes at age 5 those around her knew she had a natural talent. It’s Kaya’s Native American and Jamaican heritage along with her natural blonde hair combined with her modelesque 5'11 stature that always turns heads.
As a teenager, Kaya was signed to a development deal by R. Kelly in 1999, and with Capital Records in 2001. In 2003, Kaya attended an open audition to join the Pussycat Dolls; her try out was successful, joining at the same time as Nicole Scherzinger and Melody Thornton as a vocalist for the group. Kaya Jones rose to prominence as a member of pop music's most sensational group, "The Pussycat Dolls". Leaving the group Kaya brought her own sound to the masses and has developed her own career as a solo artist in the world of pop music. Kaya appears in the music video "How Come" by D12 and Eminem and sang backup vocals for Mick Jagger on the Golden Globe winning song "Old Habits Die Hard" (also featuring Katy Perry) from the movie Aflie. Kaya contributed two songs to the 2009 movie American Pie Presents: Book of Love.
In collaboration with Regi, the top DJ in Belgium, Kaya spent the summer of 2010 touring behind the recent success of their single, "Take It Off". The album has reached GOLD and hit the UK Dance Charts and was in the Top 10 Charts in multiple countries. Kaya's newest single & video "Waiting For Saturday" shot in Milan, Italy released in Europe, April 2011. In the USA the single "Boyfriend" is currently for sale on iTunes and she is very excited to be shooting this video due to its controversial message. April, May and June 2011, was to the only American Female Pop artist to join the Hennessy Artistry Tour in China, touring 15 cities. Representatives from the company proclaimed that Kaya was the best International Artist they have had on this long running tour.
As a seasoned entertainer, Kaya has performed at events such as, VH1's Diva's Live, VH1's Fashion Rocks and MTV's Rock the Vote, among many others. Showcasing her stunning good looks, Kaya Jones has appeared on the covers a myriad of publications and fashion magazines including: Esquire, Interview, Maxim, Stuff, FHM, Blender, Guitar and Us Weekly. As a supporter of the troops, in 2010 Kaya did a 2-week USO tour in Iraq. Performing 2-shows each day for the troops, in the middle of the war torn desert has been a life changing experience for her. A trailblazer, Kaya is also the only female pop artist to tour the actual outlying bases, where the only mode of transportation was Blackhawk helicopters. Kaya Jones is a proud supporter of the LGBT Community and was recently featured as an Honorary Host for Glaad the Gay & Lesbian Alliance against Defamation. She has performed throughout the United States at many Gay Pride events showing her support of “Equality”. Kaya Jones is a strong supporter in “Equality” and believes that no one should be treated differently based upon race or sexual orientation. She shows her support for the LGBT Community through her latest single “Boyfriend” which talks about her finding out her boyfriend has a boyfriend.
